MusicCodex does not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII). The app processes music URLs you provide locally and via third-party APIs to discover related content. No account registration is required.

2. Third-Party Services

MusicCodex uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob – displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalisation. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Spotify API – used to retrieve song metadata. See Spotify Privacy Policy.
• Tidal API – used to retrieve song metadata. See Tidal Privacy Policy.
• YouTube / YouTube Music API – used to find related content. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Deezer API – used to find related content. See Deezer Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising

MusicCodex displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings (Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation).

4. Data Retention

MusicCodex stores your last search result locally on your device using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

5. Children's Privacy

MusicCodex is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
